En effet, Alexandra sera présente au championnat d’Europe des Entreprises car elle assurera les commentaires en direct des parties des premiers échiquiers, avec son époux, le Grand-Maître franco-russe Pavel Tregubov.
Grand Maître International, Alexandra Kosteniuk est la 10e joueuse mondiale. Championne d’Europe en 2004, elle obtient le titre suprême de championne du Monde en 2008 en battant la jeune prodige chinoise, Hou Yifan. En 2021, elle ajoute à un palmarès bien étoffé par de nombreux titres par équipes et de nombreuses médailles individuelles, un nouveau titre mondial, celui de Championne du monde de parties rapides et de vice-championne du monde de Blitz.
Depuis 2023, Alexandra Kosteniuk joue sous les couleurs de la Suisse.
Joueur et entraîneur de grande notoriété, Pavel Tregubov est le premier champion d’Europe après avoir remporté en 2000 le championnat d’Europe, créé cette année-là. Il est considéré comme l’un des praticiens majeurs de la Sicilienne Taimanov.
Pavel Tregubov est l’un des fondateurs de l’ACP (Association of Chess professionnal) dont actuellement il est le Directeur de l’ACP Tour qui lui a valu en 2025 le titre d’Organisateur International.
Pavel Tregubov, son épouse Alexendra Kosteniuk ainsi que 43 autres joueurs d’élite russes sont les signataires d’une lettre ouverte au président de la Fédération de Russie, Vladimir Poutine, protestant contre l’invasion de l’Ukraine et exprimant leur soutien au peuple ukrainien.

International Grand Master Alexandra Kosteniuk is ranked 10th women chess player in the world. Women European champion in 2004, she won the supreme title of Women World Champion in 2008, beating the young Chinese prodigy, Hou Yifan. In 2021, she added a new world title to her already impressive list of team and individual medals: World Champion of Rapid Games and runner-up in Blitz.
Alexandra Kosteniuk is playing for Switzerland since 2023.
Pavel Tregubov, a well-known player and coach, is the first European champion, having won the European Championship in 2000, which was created that same year. He is considered as one of the major practitioners of the Sicilian Taimanov variation.
Pavel Tregubov is one of the founders of the ACP (Association of Chess Professionals) and is currently the Director of the ACP Tour, which earned him the title of International Organizer in 2025.
